DATES:
Arrive and depart on Saturday for 7-day trips. 5-day trips can be planned
within a Saturday-to-Saturday week.
OCCUPANCY:
6-guided guests per week. Prices are per person and based upon double
occupancy, and are subject to change. Single person bookings are not
permitted without approval of Chaiten Lodge. The odd man is not out-
for this season groups of 3 or 5 will be permitted without additional
charges per person.
THE BASE
RATE PACKAGE INCLUDES: Lodging, meals, guided fishing and fishing
license, guided eco tour activities, daily cabin services, wine with
dinner, guest driven itinerary. Fly rods and salmon fishing gear available
for rental, and flies and lures available for purchase. Travel
costs, gratuities, and cocktails not included.
THE PREMIUM
PROGRAM INCLUDES: Base rate package plus, open bar, a la carte menu,
waders, fly rod, salmon tackle, flies, lures, drive out fishing programs,
and transport to and from port of Chaiten or Esquel (Argentina). Travel
costs, and gratuities are not included.
TERMS AND
CONDITIONS: By booking a guest(s) with Chaiten Lodge the agent and
customer acknowledges that the customer and agent have read and accept
all of Chaiten Lodges Policies.
Chaiten
Lodge does not assume any responsibility for any omissions provided
by any third-party agency or their representatives.
Baggage
and personal effects of each tour party member are the sole responsibility
of each tour member at all times.
Chaiten
Lodge at its sole discretion reserves the right to cancel any tour prior
to departure, in which case full refunds will constitute a full settlement
of the purchased tour.
Tour member
is responsible for all fees, tariffs, tickets, meals, and lodging getting
to and from Chaiten Lodge, including all fees associated with any delays
beyond our control. Chaiten Lodge is not responsible for any alterations
or delays in scheduling due to events within or beyond our control.
Chaiten
Lodge reserves the right to make changes in guests itinerary as is deemed
necessary or more desirable, and the right to refuse a tour party member
at any time, in which case a refund will be made for the unused portion
of the trip.
DEPOSIT
AND PAYMENT:
A
50% deposit is due to Chaiten Lodge within 7 days of booking to secure
the reservation.
Full payment
is due 60 days before the trip.
We accept
deposits and payments via wire transfer.
CANCELLATION
AND REFUND POLICY:
All
cancellations must be in writing. Upon any cancellation Chaiten Lodge
reserves the right to assess a $200 USD handling fee to all deposits
and/or payments received.
Transfers
of deposits and payments to another guests not in the original booked
party may be made with 100% written consent of the original booked party,
and such transfers are subject to all fees for deposits, payments and
cancellations.
Date
Changes: Guests may change their booked dates to an available week
as permitted by this policy, however, Chaiten Lodge reserves the right
to charge up to $150 USD handling fee per guests for any date changes
after the initial reservation has been made.
Cancellation
outside of 90 days: 60% refund of deposit, or 100% transfer to another
date or guest for the same season, or 75% transfer for a deposit for
next season.
Cancellations
within 60 to 90 days: 30% refund of deposit or payment, 75% transfer
to another date or guest for the same season, or 50% transfer for a
deposit for next season.
Cancellations
30 to 60 days: No refund of payment or deposit, 75% transfer to
another date or guest for the same season, or 50% transfer for a deposit
for next season.
Cancellations
inside of 30 days: No refund of payment or deposit, 50% transfer
to another date or guest for the same season, transfer for deposit for
next season not permitted.
TRAVEL
INSURANCE: Chaiten Lodge encourages the purchase of travel insurance.
